Free
This reminds me of hanging out with one of my sisters. I like the feel of it.

beautiful day
It was such a nice day at the beach today. This is one of the many wonderful things about California that I love. Going to the beach, in shorts and a tank, in the winter. By the way this is the same tank in white as the last post. I liked it so much I got it in two colors.
Hat: Brixton. Tank & Sunglasses: H&M. Shorts: thrifted Levi cut-offs. Bracelets: DIY..again.. idea from HONESTLY..WTF. Rest of Jewelry: vintage/thriftedWednesday, March 7, 2012
I don't want to tell you babe, you're gonna be free
Just frolicking around in the freezing wind. I found these jeans in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago, with only thirty minutes to shop before I had to catch a flight back to San Diego. I always do this, but I have a pretty big pile of jeans and I only wear the same one or two pairs without giving the others a chance. These jeans became one of those that are never in the pile and are either on my body or being washed.
Jacket: vintage/thrifted. Tank and Boots: H&M. Jeans: Zara. Jewelry: same as previous post.

Finished!
Finally had time to finish the dress I designed. Inspiration board for this dress is a couple posts down. I ended up using a peach colored silky cotton that I got at a thrift store with a hint of a metallic grey linen.
Shoes: Forever 21. Vintage rings. DIY bracelet: idea from honestly..wtf.

Grandparents House
This reminds me of my Mormor and Morfar's house. My grandparents came over to North America, in their twenties, from Denmark. Their house is full of collectable Danish plates on the walls, antique swords, and puke colored everything. Don't get me wrong, 'puke colors' is a positive description in my brain. This eclectic way of decorating has definitely rubbed off on me.
And hello..look at the dress in the second photo down! I see the skeleton of a pelvic bone, origami and bleached out sea shells being the inspiration behind this number. I am always a fan of sheerness (which is recurring throughout the editorial), bejeweled bralettes, beaded caps and hanging out in your grandparents house playing dress up.
