hand-made

I have been obsessed with these hand-made dolls by Jess Brown, ever since I saw them in the February issue of the Martha Stewart Living Magazine. The colors and textiles she uses are amazing. I also love that the fabrics used are recycled and/or antique. A girl after my own heart. Check out her clothes and other goodies here. Oh how I would love to get my hands on one of her quilts.
I was so inspired by these dolls, that I tried making one similar for my Mom's birthday. I made the doll clothes out of my Grandmother's (Mom's Mom) clothes for sentimental value. The eyes were a little lopsided but it turned out pretty cute.
